What Causes Numbness In Arm Post Decadron Injection?

Hi there Since 1998 I have severe urticaria HAE. I examined a doctor he suggested me for some Medicine I took these medicine.after that I spent my two years without taking medicine but when I change my place it get start again I had visited many doctors they many time changed my medicine but it works for some days and after that I need to start again these medicine.now I again changed my medicine today doctor advised me to take Montika 10mg, Fexet120mg nd an injection Decadron.when nurse gave me the dose of injection at that time I was ok but after nine hours my left arm got numb I want to know is this the side effect of the injection nd what should I need to keep it back to normal.doctor suggested me this injection because I had severe swelling inside my throat.

Hi,

At that time, it was important because you have swelling in your throat i.e., kind of life threatening condition known as anaphylaxis because of hurry to save your life. It seems like nerve around got injury you have to go to neurologist once to rule out severity. That is how much and mostly these are reversible too.
