What Causes Numbness In Fingers Along With Shoulder Blade Pain?
I have a pain in my left shoulder at the back near the shoulder blade. There is also numbness in my left thumb and the nearest finger to it. There seems to be some sort of nerve pain between the shoulder and the thumb. I can t recall doing anything recently that would have caused it. It has been going on for about three days now.

I really appreciate your concern, what the pain symptoms being given here may be suggestive of degenerative disease of cervical spine to rule out this it is better to get done the MRI of cervical spine till then try to maintain good posture, and Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day can be tried, cervical collar can also be tried hope this information helps.
