What Causes Numbness In Hand While Sleeping In A Particular Position?

When I sleep with my arms straight under my head with one arm and over the top of pillow with the other laying on my side I wake up and I can not bend my arms without pain.If I sleep with my arms ben tucked in below my head into my chest they seem not to freeze up.why?

From the information you have provided, there is enough reason for me to suspct that you could be having carpal tunnel syndrome. This happens when the nerve that supplies the first 3 and 1/2 fingers counting from the thumb is trapped underneath the ligament. This pain would be more severe in these fingers that I have mentioned. Get it examined by your doctor for diagnosis and management. A primary care doctor would do.
