Hi,
Noted your history of
hypertension, nosebleed and numbness in hands and arms.
The commonest cause of nosebleed in hypertension is raised blood pressure causing rupture of small sub-mucus blood vessels.
If the bleeding is arterial it is fresh blood and brisk.
If there is venous bleed the blood is dark and slowly flowing.
Hence I would advise you the following:
- Consult your Doctor and get the blood pressure and cardiac check up, proper care and treatment of hypertension may help to stop the nosebleed.
- Other causes of nosebleed as local infection,
vascular malformation or so can be diagnosed by nasal
endoscopy by an ENT Surgeon.
As for the numbness in hands and arms the causes can be as follows:
- Cervical spondilitis.
-
Hypothyroidism.
- Nerve problems like
Neuralgia.
- Deficiency of vitamins and mineral to be confirmed by blood tests.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
- Consult your Doctor for proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations as per the findings.
- The treatment will be as per the cause found.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
