What Causes Numbness In Leg Post Treatment For Cellulitis?

I have cellulitius on my left leg on the side right below the knee. I have been taken clindamycin since Wednesday and have had 8 doses along with a shot of roceptin on Wednesday. The redness and warm was has gone done but know I have numbness in the area going down to my foot. What should I do?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
It is good to know that you have been relieved most of the symptoms of cellulitis by treatment.
Numbness will persist for some time because of the edema would have been compressing the nerves and stretching the tissues. Also it takes some time for adequate blood supply to be restored to all parts of skin.
You can take multi-vitamin and multi-mineral capsules once a day for 15 days and gradually, you will recover completely.
