General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the nerves were not severed (torn) but only mildly damaged, then it is possible that they may be repaired but this can take months in some cases.

Imaging of the spine with MRI can help determine the severity of the injury.

The main aspects of treatment would be to continue the physiotherapy. The therapist may be able to give you exercises that you can do at home as well.

I hope this helps
