Hello,
You are experiencing weakness and tingling in your legs. Tingling or numbness in one leg, or both, may be caused by compression of the blood flow or due to a nerve getting compressed. The nerves may be affected by a deficiency in vitamin B12 and inflammation within the spinal cord. Take supplements. The numbness can dissipate quickly or be felt for a prolonged period of time, depending on the underlying cause.
Numbness or paresthesia causes tingling, prickling, or a burning sensation. Other medical conditions are caused due to circulatory conditions such as
deep vein thrombosis,
peripheral artery disease, frostbite, Buerger’s disease,
arteriovenous malformation, etc. Osteoporosis, a back injury, herniated disk, fracture or bone break, degenerative disk disease, and nerve entrapment all are associated with numbness.
Leg numbness can also be a symptom of a neurological disease known as alcohol leg, systemic lupus,
hypothyroidism,
diabetic neuropathy, lead poisoning, etc. Get clinically examined by a GP, get all required tests and investigations done. Get the pathology causing the symptoms treated at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
