What Causes Numbness In Little Finger And Hard Lumps On Hand After Wrist Injury?

I hurt my wrist two weeks ago causing really bad swelling of my hand and wrist. Xrays showed no break. Since swelling has gone down my little finger keeps going numb and I have two hard lumps on the top of my hand at the side of thumb but above finger next to it. They hurt and itch. I feel the stretch when I try to bend my wrist down which I cant do the same as my other. Also when any movement of my elbow causes pain, and when waking from sleep it is very painful and stiff.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The injury to the wrist has not caused any fracture of break in bone but it has led to soft tissue injury.
Hard lumps on top of hands are probably due to soft tissue swelling and reactive fibrosis.
Numbness in little finger is suggestive of injury to the nerve supplying the little finger.
Nerve injuries commonly accompany soft tissue injuries.
Pain and stiffness in the elbow are again due to soft tissue injuries.
Thus, all symptoms experienced by you are sequelae of soft tissue injury to upper limb.
Nerve injuries usually recover spontaneously but a clinical assessment by an orthopedician is required to assess the type and extent of injury.
The pain and stiffness needs to be managed by rest, hot fomentation, pain killer and muscle relaxant.
The stiffness may take longer to disappear and may require physiotherapy.
You need to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment, prescription of medication and to follow up.

Thanks and take care
