What Causes Numbness In Lower Leg Post Ankle Sprain?

I rolled my ankle three weeks ago and I just woke up the other day to my right shin/calf/lower leg being numb. It feels odd to apply pressure on my right leg but it doesn t cause any pain. I play golf for my school and a few times when I followed through my ankle would just give out as if I didn t have control of it. Don t know how else to explain.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is sprain injury then it is better to use some self contracting bandage for some days and try to keep the leg in elevated position if it is not improving then better to get done the x-ray of leg, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
