What Causes Numbness In Lower Legs With History Of Medial Meniscus Injury?
Dear Sir, I hot a knee injury in my right leg. MRI diagnosis reveled as medial meniscus injury. I have consulted with orthopedics and taking medications & physiotherapy. I fell numbness in lower portion of both my legs for last few months. I have diabetes and auger level is within the normal range. So what s you suggestion.
hello, i can understand your concern. the medial meniscusinjury and the numbness donot appear to be inter related. instead since you have diabetes this seems to be the reason behind it. even though the sugar values are normal now, previously it might have remained unnoticed. in any case i would suggest a fasting and post prandial blood sugars along with HbA1C done for you. a complete urine analysis is also advised. multivitamin containing mecobalamin 1500mcg to be taken once daily is advised for you. this would help in the long run. take your diabetic medications as advised and dosage should be adjusted as per the blood reports. do regular physical activity ,this would help in better control of the sugar levels. kindly get the investigations done and get back to us with the reports. feel free to ask further queries. thanks for choosing HCM
