What Causes Numbness In My Big Toe And A Bump Behind The Mid Joint?
My right big toe is numb and has a swelling, soft bump just behind the mid joint. It is not a hard deposit and it seems to be filled with a fluid substance. It can produce discomfort when I wear shoes. I also have diabetes but I only take metformin. Thank young
As you have diabetes and this lump which appears to you like a fluid accumulation along with numbness in the big toe I will advice you to undergo a thorough clinical examination and the blood sugar test. Some other blood test might also need to check if any infection is there.
This kind of lumps in the feet is supposed to be not ignored as it maybe due to some abnormality in the tissues leading to the same. Also checking the uric acid levels is Advised.
Based on the clinical examination and diagnostic tests the medical management can be initiated. Also, since you are diabetic you should improve your physical activity to keep the blood sugar levels in control
