What Causes Numbness In Pelvic Area While Suffering From Back Muscle Pull?

hi i went to the dr yesterday for pulled back muscles that were causing numbness in my leg the dr said it was from swelling pressing on the nerves and gave me muscle relaxers have not taken any pills yet and the pain is better could the pulled muscles also cause numbness in crotch area

There r so many causes for backpain.ur saying back pain with numbness.most commonly due to posterior disk buge causing exiting & traversing nerve root compression.these are associated with back muscle spasm & sensory symptoms.it needs investigation.best is to for mri spine.
