What Causes Numbness In Right Hand, Nausea And Headache?

My son is experiencing numbness in his right hand along with nausea, a headache and trouble with eyesight. This all started after he ate lunch today. Came home today and went straight to sleep. This is the 2nd episode he had experienced with same symptoms except on Sat. it also included loosing his cookies and diarrhea. What could this be in reference too? He recently had ablation therapy due to an SVT in Feb.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The numbness in hand, nausea , headache with history of ablation therapy for supraventricular tachycardia may be a warning sign of underlying electrolyte disturbances with potassium, magnesium or else. He needs an EKG examination and follow up with his treating cardiologist for further management guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
