What Causes Numbness In Ring And Middle Finger?

What would cause my ring finger and middle finger (on both hands, sometimes) to go numb? This is happening often, but they don t stay numb all the time. I notice it when I wake up and when I m driving, as well as other times, but that s the most frequent activities when they are numb.

Hi
Welcome to HCM!
I am of the opinion that you are suffering from Carpal tunnel syndrome = a condition that occurs due to compression of a nerve when it passes over the wrist joint.
Home treatment, such as changing or avoiding activities that may be causing symptoms and wearing a wrist splint.
If you have persistent signs and symptoms especially if they interfere with your normal activities and sleep patterns you must consult a doctor for the treatment.
