What Causes Numbness In Roof Of Mouth After Frequent Throwing Up Stomach Acid?
Last week on Thursday I was throwing up stomach acid for a long time very frequently, as a result I have blisters on the roof of my mouth, a couple days ago the whole roof of my mouth went numb on its own. Can you tell me if this is normal? And why this happened?
Nothing to worry, consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of acid reflux Proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole will be advised, antacid like Milk of Magnesia, avoiding spicy and acidic foods, taking small meals and sleeping with head slightly raised as compared to feet will help..
For allergic reaction taking anti-allergics like Cetrizine or Fexofenadine (Allegra) will help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
