Hello, Welcome to Ask a doctor services. I have red your query.
Some patients feel pain or numbness after cortisone injection, it is just a side effect & should go away in one or two days. You can take pain killers (Naproxen or Combiflam) one sos when needed for relieve.
However, if the pain or numbness persists you should get it physically examined to rule out any infection, injured nerve or bruising. Get it treated.
Hope I have answered your question. Take care. Regards, Dr Nupur K
