What Causes Numbness In The Face And Burning Sensation In Forehead?
Hi I have been having weird numbness feelings in the left side of face. Some earache pain but then moved down near jaw. This went away but moved over to the right side causing a burning feeling with my veins in my forhead , top of the head and back of my neck. Not sure what it could be or how it can be treated but I need answers please
The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a nerve dysfunction. The numbness and burning sensation you experiencing are probably occurring due to trigeminal nerve dysfunction . But there can be other conditions also that could be responsible like neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and others . So i would suggest you to consult neurosurgeon for proper examination and to find out exact cause . Such can be easily treatable if detected in early stages , because conditions like Trigeminal neuralgia go worse with times . Doctor may prescribe anti epileptic drugs or recommend physical therapy of face .
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
