Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi -- I had shingles on my left side of my face in January -- lasted for four weeks -- terrible pain. A month ago I developed numbness in my feet, legs up to my thights and saddle area. MRI ruled out CES. Blood work ruled out Lyme disease. Can shingles cause this as a secondary problem?

What Causes Numbness In The Feet And Thighs?
Hi, It can Ben due to neuropathic causes. Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. An MRI scan may be required for detailed evaluation. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
