What Causes Numbness In The Feet And Toes?

I have numbness is my feet from the ball through the toes. My left foot is wurse than my right. The numbness showed up after I had a long bout with water retention in my legs and feet. I finally started taking medication to correct the situation but the numbness was left over. Is this called neuropathy? If not, what could it be and how do I get treatment?

hi, numbness is related to diabetes, age of pt, smokeror not,tobaco. so every cause have different solution. vit b12 is effective for you, thanks, regards.
