What Causes Numbness In The Finger Tips While Suffering From COPD?

I am 78 years old, have COPD, open heart surgery to repair leaky mitro valve. Have to us 3 l o2, with out O2 my SAO2 is about 85% and I have numbness in my finger tips. with O2 my SAo2 will be around 94%. Is the numbness in my finger tips a problem.

The numbness in finger tips is due to lack of oxygenation of tissues and of the nerve endings in fingers. It is a complication of COPD leading to drum stick fingers. Improve the oxygenation to improve it.
