Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have numbness in my foot while driving. I had a nerve test done and that came out ok. The doctor has prescribed further tests. I have medical insurance that I pay a high monthly payment for with a very high deductible as well. Now with the few tests I ve had thus far, I am already owing in the thousands with no answer as to what s wrong. They did a lot of blood work so I m assuming they would have checked for diabetes. I will have to confirm that, but pretty sure that is ruled out. What are other possibilities of what could be wrong and are there solutions or will they just tell me I have to live with it and I owe thousands more? Not sure if I can afford to continue all this testing but don t want to die.
