Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor I have nombness which occasionally occur in my hands and feet. I feel such nombness with a bit breath difficulties. I am having this case since three months only and i did Complete blood picture analysis which reveals normal results. B12 analysis was not done as it was not requested by the doctor.
If the doctor did a CBC and there was no anemia identified or changes that are related to vit B12 deficiency there is less chance you have problem with vit B12 and this is very likely why the doctor did not ask for it. If all the examination (including a neurological examination) and tests came out normal then very likely the condition is due to anxiety and you will need to see your doctor and discuss the chance of having it and which would be the proper approach.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General & Family Physician
