Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
50yr old woman, athletic, 127lbs: Why would my normally large gross arm and hand veins suddenly look tiny and right pinky has no circulation/numb/blue (heart rate is 64 beats a minute) not dehydrated. Not dizzy or weak. Do I need emergency help? Do I have a blood clot? Shrinkage is same on both arms.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If there is some shrinkage on both sides and vessels appear smaller, then you should be assessed by a local doctor for distal circulation and color Doppler study for circulation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
