General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Of course, you should not do it anymore. It seems like there is a development of an abscess and this may be a serious issue. You should go and see a doctor immediately since antibiotic therapy and surgical drainage may be required. You probably missed a vessel and it accumulated around the nerve and it causes numbness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
