What Causes Numbness In The Left Foot?

I have numbness in my left foot and part of my leg and then at night I have a shooting sensation going down the back of my leg while I'm trying to sleep. The numbness I have tends to move around also. I also have a complete rupture of a cruciate legament in my knee. What do you think is the problem? Could this be MS or a cruciate problem or ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi
thanks for choosing hcm
I understand your concern
your symptoms are due to your nerves which are either being compressed in between your vertebrae or as a result of demyelination.
For you I would suggest to undergo xray of lumbosacral spine so that this can be diagnosed. Moreover you can start taking vitamin B complex to help strengthen your nerves. I also prescribe my patients with pregabalin 75 to 100 mg at night for treating this numbness.
I hope I answered you querry in detail, if you find it useful the do give a five star feed back :) Enjoy healthy life!
