What Causes Numbness In The Left Foot?

Im 67 2 years ago I had a back problem that resulted in drop foot and leg and foot pain. Today I stll have numb left foot, soar shins and I believe a lower ability to have a strong erection is there any link? seems to be going on now for over a year

Hi,

Well your symptoms are definitely due to your back problem but before answering your questions first you have to answer the following questions:

1. The foot in which you are having numbness is the same foot with foot drop or it is the opposite foot?

2. Did you underwent any treatment for your problem and whether your condition improved after that?

3. Do you have any other disorders like diabetes or hypertension or any prostate problem.

If I would have been your treating doctor i would first examine you and then carry out certain essential investigations like MRI lumbosacral spine.
