General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your description, there was no injury or trauma. Although, I have something to ask:
1. Is there any other symptoms in the body?
2. Is there any headache at times?
3. Does this numbness changes sides?

I would like to suggest some tests:
1. Nerve conduction Study
2. VZV antibody tests
3. Complete Blood Count
4. Electromyography
5. ECG

Meanwhile, you can:
1. Massage that part
2. Apply warm compress
3. Keep the skin moisturize over there
4. No drinking and no smoking
5. Have fruit juice

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
