What Causes Numbness In The Lower Leg After An Ankle Injury?
MY HUSBAND WAS BRUSH HOGGING AND A ROCK FLEW UP HITTING HIM ON HIS LEFT ANKLE. IT MADE A DEEP WOUND THAT HAS SINCE SCABBED OVER. IT HAS BEEN ABOUT A MONTH. NOW HE NO LONGER HAS FEELING BELOW HIS KNEE AND TODAY, HE HAS NO STRENGTH IN HIS ANKLE. WHAT IS WRONG?

Your husband has had a nerve injury. Make sure his ankle doe not change color to green or grayish black. If he is diabetic, this can happen quickly. Don't panic. But take him to the nearest medical center. For now, apply warm fomentation.
