What Causes Numbness In The Patella While Bending The Leg?

my patella is numb, when I bend my leg, at the patella if feels as though there is something about to snap such as stretching a rubber band and it snapping. I cannot put any pressure on it. The feeling gets worse as the day goes on. There is an indent in the patella that hasn t been there before.

Numbness in the patella may be due to arthritis or nerve involvement or meniscus injury or effusion etc.

The possibility of prepatellar bursitis or neuropathy.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it done local examination and X-ray of the joint.

Please consult your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
