What Causes Numbness In The Right Arm And Shoulder?

Hi - numbness in my right arm has been diagnosed as moderately sever carpal tunnel. It has progressed up my arm to my shoulder, my right side and now my abdomen. Im also thinking the right side of my face is tingly. Not sure who I should consult about this now. thank you. Have not yet had carpal tunnel surgery.
