What Causes Numbness In The Right Leg After A Back Surgery?
I have had back surgery 8 weeks ago for sciatica and groin pain in right leg . I had vertebres l4 and l.5 fused . After surgery I complained of right leg being numb including right foot . Little toe through middle toe was also numb . As weeks gone by the pain has gotten worse. eve wieburg

Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to nerve compression or nerve injury and must be evaluated by primary surgeon who did the surgery.
Nerve conduction studies may also be needed. Sometimes local inflammation after surgery cause such symptoms but are reversible once inflammation settles.
