Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi i have a numb feeling in my right thigh and my right side of my stomach. its been sensitive to touch for a few days and just today it has started having a sharp pain whenever something touches it. i have spinal stenosis. Could it be part of my spinal stenosis or appendicitis?
As per your clinical history is concerned you have RLQ pain as well as numbness in thigh.so do a physical examination first by a general surgeon in your area and he will attest if it is appendicitis or not.If attested treatment will be surgical in laparoscopic method only. During this time you can take one antibiotics like[Cefixime]and secondly you have thigh numbness and it is due to nerve compression only for which you require to consult with a neurologist in your area and you have to take physiotherapy and if it is not prosperous then you can go for surgical option only.
Hope that helps
