Hi,

The nerve endings were unstimulated and a recent shaving might have stimulated them and that may be the cause of the symptoms.

You can wait for a few days. Generally, the symptoms will settle by itself. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
