General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello sir/madam,
Thank you for posting on Health Care Magic.
From your history I understand that you have hypertension and that you are at present on amlodipine(Norvasc). You were previosly on lisinopril.
It would have been really helpful if i knew your age, gender, how long you had hypertension and if your Blood pressure is controlled.
Norvasc/lisinopril may have tingling and numbness of extremities but it is very very rare. The most probable cause in your case maybe long standing hypertension.
Toe numbness can also be due to ill fitting footwear, peripheral neuropathy, vertebral disc degeneration, anxiety etc.So to make a specific diagnosis I need to know if you have any other symptoms or disease/s,Your complete blood work etc.
So my advice : If you do not have any other symptoms, diseases don't be worried.
I hope I have helped you.
Thank you.
