Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I shoot meth. About a year ago, I started experiencing numbness in my toes. Now, I frequently have pain in my feet, which is very excruciating. My feet also feel like they are on fire, as if I had been walking on hot coals. What should I do about this, besides the obvious, stop using meth?
I think these symptoms are characteristic of neuropathy possibility diabetes neuropathy or meth intoxication neuropathy or another origin of nerve inflammation and compression.
You should firstly stop taking meth then do other examinations such EMG.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
