What Causes Numbness On One Side Of The Body?

Hi. My name is Jack and I need to know what s going on. In a way, I dont feel much on the left side of my body. Let me explain, whenever I work out, let s say my butt or Lats, it s hard for me to feel contraction on the left side of my body. The other weird thing is, I don t feel sore on my left side. Nothing different, same thing on both sides. I m starting to see my right side grow and my left side stay the same. What s going on?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you need to get neurological examination and opinion by neurologist.

You may also require some investigation like vitamin b 12 levels and folic acid levels to rule out other causes of numbness. Your workup may also require CT scan of the brain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
