What Causes Numbness On Right Side Of Forehead After Injury?
I was using a cordless drill the other day drilling through steel and the drill bit got caught and the drill twisted around and the battery hit my forehead just above my right eye. Yesterday I noticed the right side of my forehead is numb I have no bruising or swelling but the initial impact was hard enough for me to see stars...
The symptoms seem to be related to battery hit your forehead. You can better send me a photo of the injury site on reports in order to better evaluate it. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen 400mg to relieve the pain. I also suggest to use a Diclofenac ointment applies locally. Cold compresses for local application can also be helpful.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Arup Majumdar, General & Family Physician
