What Causes Numbness On The Face And Pain In The Left Arm?

Thank you. I have a history of migraine headaches with aura. The headaches hardly every fully manifest but I still get auras. I also get pain in my left arm from time to time that is helped with magnesium. Lately I have had some intermittent numbness in my face and have had some dizziness to the point of needing to sit down. My blood pressure is controlled with Edarbi 40 mg, last reading yesterday of 110/72. Lifescreen 2 years ago revealed no blockage. I have regular physicals. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

The dizziness is because of the medication, you are taking for hypertension. If you are new to this medicine you will get adopted to it with time.

Make sure you get slowly while lying down for long time to prevent postural syncope. The pain may be the postural in nature, you can get rid of from this by changing your posture regularly.

If you can elaborate about numbness it would be better to understand, if you feel it intermittently take multivitamins, particularly vitamin B12 that will be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
