What Causes Numbness On The Lips After Stopping Dipping Tobacco?
I have recently stopped dipping tobacco. It s been a month since the last dip. I ve recently noticed my bottom right lip area keeps going numb. like if I pucker my lips I can feel it go numb. I don t have any pain in my mouth just my lip going numb concerns me.
Well if the lip is going numb and it is already a month that you have stopped dipping tobacco then there is a lesser possibility that it is due to tobacco..
So the first thing that you need to do is to consult a Physician and get checked and a clinical examination has to be done to rule out the exact cause of the symptoms..
As of now do alternate warm and cool compresses over the lip and along with it you can also take multivitamin. Avoid continues pressing or biting the lip..
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
