General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is called a cervical herniated disc. It gives pain like you have prescribed.

Cervical epidural steroid injection procedures are injections administered to relieve pain in the neck, shoulders and arms caused by a pinched nerve or inflamed nerve in the cervical spine.

The treatment usually is using medication in rare cases is surgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
