What Causes Occasional Electric Shock Sensation In Thigh?

I have occasional pain in my right thigh. At times it is like an electrical shock that makes my leg jerk and other times it is a pain that shoots into the thigh and on a scale of 1 to 10 that pain is an 8. I have had this pain off and on for years and 4 years ago I went to therapy which helped but the same thing is back again and seems to be worse now. There are times my thigh feels as if there is something heavy attached to it. It hurts if I bump into something and hit that part of my leg.

Hi,

You need to check calcium, magnesium, electrolyte (potassium). You may apply for temporarily pain relief Aspercreme cream! Electromyography or MRI are useful for accurate diagnosis! Optimizing energy workshop is helpful in patients with undiagnosable cases of patients via some unknown mechanism you can try this also.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
