What Causes Occasional Fainting Spells And Vomiting In An Elderly Person?
My 82-year-old mother has had occasional occurrences where she faints for no known reason. When she comes to, she vomits. This has occurred about 7 times over 3 years, twice over the past month. Initially went to the emergency room and tests were run, but nothing conclusive was discovered. She has an appt with a neurologist in 1-1/2 weeks, but I m frustrated b/c I live out of state and feel my father isn t being proactive in getting her checked out. Shouldn t she be going to the emergency room? Could it indicate a heart issue?
