What Causes Oily Discharge In Stools During Change In Seasons?

Every year as the seasons change from summer to fall and winter to spring, I experience a few days where I have an oily discharge in my stool. Only lasts a week or less (usually 2 or 3 days), It occurs most often when passing gas then I have that feeling that things are not fresh down there. Other important info--I am a white male, 54 years old, only medication is Prilosec OTC.
