What Causes On And Off Low Grade Fever And Sinus Pressure On Forehead?

I have had an off and on low grade fever for about five days accompanied by sinus pressure in both temples forhead and base of skull and chest congestion (I have Bronchiectis). Do I need to see a doctor or will this work out. It began after I got my flu shot BTW.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Here according to history you are having acute sinusitis or bronchitis like condition ....

Do chest x ray for rule out bronchitis. .
Spirometry also done to assess severity and management accordingly ....

Also investigate with CBC ...
If neutrophilia present - Bacterial cause
If lymphocytosis - viral cause

If bacterial cause suspected antibiotic therapy started ...

Meanwhile drink more water ....

Take benadryl like antihistaminic drug for relieve congestion ....

Steam inhalation with added eucalyptus oil in hot water useful for congestion relief ....

Avoid excess spicy food....

Take one tsp ginger juice with honey daily ...

If still condition increasing than I like to take your digital x ray chest for more work up....

Take care .....
