Spirometry also done to assess severity and management accordingly .... Also investigate with CBC ... If neutrophilia present - Bacterial cause If lymphocytosis - viral cause If bacterial cause suspected antibiotic therapy started ... Meanwhile drink more water .... Take benadryl like antihistaminic drug for relieve congestion .... Steam inhalation with added eucalyptus oil in hot water useful for congestion relief .... Avoid excess spicy food.... Take one tsp ginger juice with honey daily ... If still condition increasing than I like to take your digital x ray chest for more work up.... Take care .....
