What Causes One Artery To Become Larger Than The Other?
I have a family memeber whom had been having chest pains for the better part of 3 days. He finally checked into an urgent care and they told him that one artery is larger than the other. I was wondering what the cause of this may be and what this could be leading to.

Enlargement of arteries can mainly be caused by fatty accumulation along the inner linings of the artery which makes them less flexible and eventually thin out or a complication of chronic uncontrolled high blood pressures.
Other causes may be responsible for an enlarged artery based on the artery involved. Unfortunately, you didn't mention which particular artery.
