What Causes One-sided Body Pain While Treating An Ear Canal Tumor?
Yes I am worried about my husband. He has a small tumor on his right ear canal. Lately he has been having some side pain and also he had pain in his legs. He says he is fine today. He is 73 years ago and he had a stroke in 2001. If things don t right for him, he blows up gets mad etc. My question is this could be a delayed reaction to his stroke or does it mean maybe that he is close to having another one.
As per my clinical experience, one sided body pain with ear canal tumor is most likely related to central nervous system spread of the tumor affecting pain pathways as spinothalamic tract with less likely possibility of recurrent cerebro vascular stroke. He definitely requires an MRI of the brain for best assessment and further care in this approach.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
