Hi Doc, I see rays of light entering my eyes, I also see halos and glare, I have not gone through any lasik surgery but i used to be in front of computers for more then 10 hours a day. i showed it to two docs, they cant find any problem. Can you please suggest what could be the problem ? What should i ask doc to check in my next visit ? Any solutions plz ??
Seeing halos and glare are definitely early symptoms of developing vision problems. If your doctor could not find any problem then you need to give rest to your eyes for a couple of days.
Avoid sitting infront of the compter for such long hours, take frequent breaks. Holos & glares are indicative of light being scatterred from your cornea or lens of your eyes.
You can use I tone eye drops in both the eyes for relieve or Refresh tears lubricant eye drops, 2-3 drops in both the eyes twice daily.
You can also take vitamin E, C, A & carotenoids, leafy green vegetables, like spinach and kale. Avoid addictions if any.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by an eye specialist if you continue to have discomfort. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K
