What Causes Oozing Of Pus From The Gum With Bad Odour?

I have noticed a small hole in my lower gum,
The lower gum area was sore little bit
and also found pusy substance inside
i have used ear buds to try drain as much as possible and the substance has a very bad smell

Any suggestions on what may cause this and cure prevention

Can understand your concern..

As per your complain oozing of pus from a small hole in gums can be either A GUM BOIL or a DENTAL ABSCESS..

A gum boil can occur in case of infection in the gums which can occur either due to any injury to the gums by an hard food item or while picking with a tooth pick leading to carrying of infection to deeper parts of gums and forming a small pus filled blister..
In case if food is impacted into the gums it can lead to infection and gum boil..

If it is not gum boil then any deep infection in tooth can lead to pus formation near the root apex of infected tooth and gets accumulated in soft tissues and appears as a pus filled blister on gums..

I would suggest you to consult a dentist and get evaluated by clinical checkup and x ray and in case it is a gum boil professional cleaning of teeth known as Scaling along with antibiotics can help..

In case if it is a dental abscess root canal treatment or extraction along with antibiotics and painkiller can help..
