What Causes Oozing Wound On Left Toe Of A Diabetic?
hi...i have a small scrap wound on left toe ( uses to big toe) its not healing...am diabetic since 15 yrs. I am on anti biotic and i9ts been about 15 days. i have developed a rash kind of thing around the wound and it oozes liquid. v little amount but it does ooze. i have been on anti b since 3 days. cefaprime cv is the anti b and fucidin ointment. pl help

High blood sugar levels doesn't allow the wound to heal up properly in a timely manner.
Consult a Podiatrist for complete assessment and treatment. You need to take care of wound along with antibiotics. Keep it clean with pyodine and get it regularly checked up with a Podiatrist or Diabetologist/Endocrinologist.
