What Causes Oral Ulceration?

Hello Sir, This is Shimul. I am having oral ulceration including soft plate- 2 mm. Doctor advised me to test ESR & PBF. Here are the result. ESR: 26 mm in first hour (Westergern) PBF: RBC Anisochroma with anisocytosis; WBC: Mature with normal count & distribution; Comments Non specific findings

Thanks for the query..

Oral ulceration along with a moderately high ESR values and also Anisochroma with Anisocytosis is clearly pointing towards Anaemia..
Oral ulceration is commonly seen when you have low iron levels and it is a common presentation of iron deficiency anemia..
So my suggestion to you is to consult a Physician and discuss your reports so that he can advise you proper iron supplements to recover from the deficiency..
As the deficiency will resolve the ulceration will heal..
For now you can start taking a Vitamin B complex daily and if the ulcers are painful you can apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine over it..
You can also do warm saline gargles and avoid spicy, citrus and irritant foods..
